PUPPY CHALLENGE 1 - Puppies between 7 and 18 weeks of age.

An all-positive, fun learning experience for puppies.

The main purpose of this course is socialisation. One of the most important things you
can do for your puppy is to let him or her socialize early with other dogs to avoid
problems later on.

Young puppies are very impressionable and easy to train because they don't know
much of anything and haven't learned any "bad" behaviours yet. Now is the perfect time
to encourage desired behaviours through positive reinforcement. The habits your puppy
now learns he or she will also know as an adult.

This course is aimed to teach puppies to grow up to become happy, well-adjusted,
    socialized and confident adult dogs.

Skills Taught: Socialization with dogs and people, appropriate play behavior, bite
inhibition, sensory stimulation, familiarity with different groundwork and strange
surfaces, focused attention, and various topics such as House training, Toys,
    Punishment, Body Language, etc.

Puppies will be introduces to basic exercises like: Sit, Down, Stand, Recalls
“Come”, Attention Control, Stay, Walk on loose leash, Leave, Relinguish “drop”,
Settle, Taking treats nicely, body handling (being touched all over their bodies -
    TTouch™)

Teaching the puppy appropriate behaviours in a controlled environment.

To inform owners of the latest (positive) techniques in changing and preventing un-
wanted behaviours (jumping, chewing, barking, toy possessiveness, digging, bully-
    ness etc.)

Wonderful fun and learning experience for puppies and their owners!

Exclusively for young puppies 7 – 18 weeks of age (depending on breed)

  No force or punishment!

Prerequisite: at least 8 weeks old at the start of the class and not older than 18
